2009/2010 Rehearsal and Concert Schedule

The following is our schedule for the 2009 – 2010 concert season. All rehearsals will be at Congress Middle School from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the concerts will be at the Boynton Beach Civic Center from 7:30 p.m. to about 9:15 p.m..

Because we only have three or four rehearsals before each concert, I feel it is necessary to have a plan concerning attendance. In order to participate in a concert, you must be in attendance at least three of the four rehearsals. The one allowed absence can not be the last rehearsal before the concert. This includes illnesses, emergencies, or planned absences. Any other circumstances must be discussed with the director well in advance. When you check your calendar and see that you will be gone more than once in a single session, or that you have to miss the final rehearsal, you may drop out that entire session and start up again after the concert, or you may play with the group during the rehearsals, except for the final rehearsal. I would like the final rehearsal to be the players that will be at the concert. Sessions three (#3) and seven (#7) only have three rehearsals, but will follow the same plan as the other sessions.
